There are many schools of thought on how to boil an egg. This way works perfectly every time. The shell peels easily and the yolk is fully cooked and not overdone.
Put eggs in a large pot of water.
Bring to boil
Boil for 5 mins
Remove from heat, cover and let sit in water for 10 minutes
Drain water, dry eggs, and cool in refrigerator. Peel, and use as needed.
